Bar­rhead school per­forms for Green­tree

Green­tree School was treated to an out­door per­for­mance by the Bar­rhead Com­pos­ite High School band on Fri­day morn­ing. Bar­rhead, which is known for its su­perb mu­sic pro­gram, is tour­ing Al­berta this week­end and of­fered Green­tree a per­for­mance while they were in town vis­it­ing the Tyrrell. They per­formed in Cal­gary Satur­day af­ter they took in a per­for­mance by the Phil Har­monic Orches­tra. The band played a mix of or­ches­tral stan­dards as well as ren­di­tions of cur­rent hits such as One Repub­lic’s Count­ing Stars.
