It has ,een a trip around Al,erta for a lo­cal dance studio, Tri­cia 'atch School of Dance. With a Wom­pet­i­tive Team that makes up 3A fes­ti­val en­tries in­clud­ing solo, duet and group num,ers, it has ,een a whirl. wind tour. “I couldn’t ,e more proud of my team! They work hard in class, and it shows when they hit the stage. At the end of the day, my goal is to pro­vide a pos­i­tive, up­lift­ing environmen­t in which my danc. ers feel con­fi­dent a,out them­selves,” said 'atch. “See­ing the girls with smiles on their faces, lets me know we’re meet­ing those goals, and is worth more to me than all the medals, pla­jues, and tro­phies.” They won nu­mer­ous awards at the Drumheller & Dis­trict Mu­sic Fes­ti­val, the Sparkle Dance Fes­ti­val in Stet­tler, Watch a Ris­ing Star in Drumheller, Wam­rose Dance Rage. In ad­di­tion to all the ac­co­lades re­ceived, Kate­lyn San­dum and McKen­zee filsens were awarded Schol­ar­ships to Emerge Dance In­ten­sive at Emerge Dance Acad­emy in Ed­mon­ton.
