The Zone 2 U19A Ringette team will be hosting the Provincial Championships at the Rockyford Sportsplex this weekend (local girls, Taneil Kalbhen and Jessica Clyne play on this team). Things get started on Friday, March 3 at 9 a.m. with the Zone 2 team versus St. Albert. Good Luck to all.
Congratulations to the Rockyford Roughnecks PeeWee hockey team who won both of their playoff games on the weekend and move on to the next round. Awesome job everyone and continued good Luck.

Just a reminder that the “World Day of Prayer” will take place at St. Rita’s Church this Friday (March 3) starting at 2 p.m. Everyone is most welcome to attend.
Sign up for all or any of the three free Facebook sessions being offered at the library in March. These sessions are designed for beginners or anyone who wants to become more comfortable using this social media. Bring your own computer or use one of our lab laptops. All three workshops are from 3 until 5 p.m. on these dates: March 22 (Getting started), March 28 (Building your friends list and exploring the news feed), March 29 (Facebook privacy and settings). Visit the Rockyford Library during operating hours between February 28 and March 16 to see some artistic work being created in our community. Creativity can be expressed in so many different ways, using paint, wool, thread, metal, cameras, or cement. If you have a project you would like to share during this exhibit, bring it in to us. We are open Tuesdays, noon to 6; Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2 until 8.
Alberta Prairie COW (classroom on wheels) is coming to the Rockyford Library from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on March 21. Parents or caregiv- ers and children 6 years old and under are welcome to partake in stories, games, and great reading fun at this drop-in event. Or pack a picnic lunch and stay the day! There will also be a Legacy Library presentation to the community at 2:00 p.m. that day. This is the last year that this program is operating, so don’t miss out.
Hope Bridges Society will offer an upcycling program at the Rockyford Library, beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 16. Call Hope Bridges directly at 403-983-3640 for further information and to register.
Register your child for Art Camp at the Rockyford Library during the Easter break. The camp runs daily from 10:00 until 3:00, Tuesday through Friday, April 18 to 21. Although more specifically suited for children aged 6 to 12, older participants are welcome. Vicki Myers returns to lead the group in a fun few days of exploring different avenues of artistic expression.
Kids Can Paint! at the Rockyford Library on Saturday, April 1 (10:00 to noon). Aspiring artists aged 7+ will be guided in creating their own acrylic masterpiece. Space is limited.
Mark your calendar to reserve July 3 to 7 for this year’s Drama Camp. Further information will follow, and registration will open in April.
