Congratulations to the Rockyford Roughnecks PeeWee hockey team who won the gold medal at their home tournament this past weekend. Good job everyone.
The Rockyford Open C ladies Ringette team will be hosting Provincials March 24-26. They have two local teams competing (Rush, along with the Rockyford Ringers). Come support your hometown ladies. A raffle table and 50/50 board will also be set up on Friday and Saturday, check it out and maybe win yourself a prize.

The first of three introductory facebook lessons is on March 22, from 3 until 5. Feel free to bring your own laptop or use one of the class ones. Create your own facebook account and profile, learn how to log in/out and navigate the screen, add a cover photo to your timeline, add friends, and briefly explore the newsfeed. The next two sessions will: help you build your friends list and become more comfortable with the newsfeed (March 28); learn to protect your privacy and maximize online security when using facebook (March 29).

Register your child for a fun and creative day camp during the Easter break at the Rockyford Library. The program will run Tuesday through Friday, April 18 through 21, from 10 until 3. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 (or older) are welcome.
Kids Can Paint! at the Rockyford Library on Saturday, April 1 (10:00 to noon). For a registration fee, aspiring artists aged 7+ will be guided in creating their own acrylic masterpiece. Space is limited. The group will be painting a cat face. A sample of the project is available for viewing at the library, or you can visit us on facebook or our website (rockyfordlibrary.ca).
Join us at the library for the first of three free video-conferences on Wednesday, March 22, beginning at 6:00 p.m. about writing fiction (particularly historical fiction) with author Simon Rose. Historical fiction combines the events of the past with characters and stories from each writer’s imagination. This program continues on April 19 and May 31.
