Drumheller Busi­ness Visi­ta­tion Study launched

Over the next four months, Com­mu­nity Fu­tures Big Coun­try will be in­ter­view­ing own­ers and man­agers to de­velop a snap­shot of the busi­ness cli­mate in the val­ley.

Busi­ness own­ers will be en­cour­aged to iden­tify the chal­lenges and op­por­tu­ni­ties they see in Drumheller, how their own busi­ness is far­ing in the mar­ket­place, and what could be done to en­cour­age eco­nomic growth in the val­ley. con­cerns iden­ti­fied by con­nect­ing busi­nesses to the re­sources they need, whether through its tra­di­tional role as a de­vel­op­men­tal lender, or by de­vel­op­ing and de­liv­er­ing train­ing and men­tor­ship pro­grams with a lo­cal fo­cus.

Com­mu­nity Fu­tures Big Coun­try is part of a non-profit net­work of ru­ral eco­nomic devel­op­ment agen­cies, funded by Western Eco­nomic Di­ver­si­fi­ca­tion Canada, gov­erned by a lo­cal vol­un­teer board of di­rec­tors.
