A reminder from the Nazareth Lutheran Church… They are happy to announce this year’s Campership Program. This program is for children who live in the Village of Standard. Children can attend either Camp Kuriakos in Sylvan Lake (www.kuriakos.ab.ca) or Wilderness Ranch in Claresholm (www.wildernessranch.ab.ca ) A Bike-a-Thon is organized for June 18, and all children wishing to attend must raise pledges and participate. Please contact Pastor Dyanna for more information. You do not need to attend Nazareth Lutheran Church, or be affiliated to take part. Spots fill up fast so act now!
Did you know… “Canada” is an Iroquoian language word meaning “Village.”
“The heart of a volunteer is not measured in size, but by the depth of the commitment to make a difference in the lives of others” – DeAnn Hollis. The Friends of East Wheatland & Wheatland Crossing School would like to further extend their gratitude to the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to complete the playground installation at the new Wheatland Crossing School. The kids love their new playground!
