Diabetes can cause nerve damage and poor blood flow or circulation to the legs and feet. Thus, people with diabetes are less likely to feel a foot injury, such as a blister or cut. Diabetes can make these injuries more difficult to heal. Unnoticed and untreated, even small foot injuries can quickly become infected, potentially leading to serious complications. A foot care clinic is offered every six weeks at the Senior’s Centre. The next date available is Thursday June 15. Please contact Donna at 403 644 3849 for more information.

“Break a leg” is an idiom in theatre used to wish a performer “good luck” in an ironic way. Well-wishers typically say “Break a leg” to actors and musicians before they go on stage to perform. You’re invited to ‘The Grunch’ a musical at the Wheatland Crossing School performed by the elementary classes. ShowTime’s are, Wednesday, May 31, at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Thursday, June 1, at 7:00 pm. Break a leg!!!
