ParticipACTION 150 Playlist item Kid’s Triathlon ready for Drumheller
While the Dinosaur Trail Triathlon is ready to take to the course on Saturday, June 10, on Friday before the main event, some youngsters are getting ready to swim, bike and run to the finish line… Although it may be more of a splash, trike and toddle to the finish.
The Triathlon is a part of the ParticipACTION Canada 150 Playlist, the committee has since been organizing fun events to allow residents to try some new activities by adding a kid’s triathlon to the mix.
This event is aimed at three to five-year-olds and will take place on Friday, June 9, starting at 4 p.m.
This is a free event for kids and parents to have some fun and be active.
The race begins at the Drumheller Aquaplex, before it takes to the path along the Red Deer River on bikes and trikes to the Badlands Community Facility where they will finish the event with a run in the field house.
There will be snacks and great prizes for the participants following the race.
