Dragons hire assistant coach
The Dragons have fortified their coaching staff with a Royal Bank (RBC) Cup champion.
The team has hired Brayden Klimosko as assistant coach for the 2017-2018 season. Klimosko was a member of the 2008 Humbolt Broncos, which captured the 2008 RBC Cup, Junior A national championship. In that season, Klimosko had 37 points.
“Brayden has valuable experience both as a coach and a player and those experiences will strengthen the program and enhance the development of our players,” said Dragons head coach Kevin Hasselberg.
Klimosko’s roots go way back in Humbolt. In fact, he played his entire minor hockey career in his hometown. From there, he went to become assistant coach of the team.
“On behalf of myself, I want to wish Brayden nothing but the best of luck in his future endeavors. His professionalism and friendship will definitely be missed,” said Broncos head coach and general manager Darcy Haugan in a press release, “He is a class act who worked tirelessly for this hockey team and I appreciate all the work he has done over the 4 years.”
