Pioneer Trail has been a very busy place this week, on Thursday, the bridge players met and if you would like to join this group please give Don Robertson a call at 403-821-0137. Here are the results for Thursday, February 1, 1st - LeeAnn Szoke & Don Robertson (4820), 2nd - Mary & Bill Burke (3880), 3rd - Helen Peers & Beryl Sigfusson (3210). Well done players.
On Saturday, February 3, The Alberta 55 plus Seniors Cribbage Singles Tournament took place. Even though the weather started out really bad, we did have sixteen players who braved the outdoors and made it out for the tournament.
The ladies from Pioneer Trail provided a fantastic lunch of chilli. There were two division of players, those 55 - 70 and those 70 +. Everyone seemed to have a great day. Here is the list of winners from the 55 - 70 age group winners - 1st Jessie, 2nd Wendy both from Drumheller, and 3rd Jack from Cochrane.
The winners from the 70 + age group 1st - Darryl, 2nd - John, 3rd - Barry from Drumheller. These lucky winners will now advance to Senior Summer Games to be held the May long weekend in Camrose.
Cribbage Doubles will be held on February 24, in Airdrie, so if you have a partner and love to play crib contact Cora Oliver 403-945-0353 to sign up.

Pioneer Trail will be hosting the 55 Plus Snooker Tournament on Saturday, February 10.
On February 14, Pioneer Trail will be having a coffee and cake event, if you can bring in two items of food for the food bank that would be great. So drop by and have a piece of cake and some coffee and good friendship. This event will happen after the Bingo is done, so bingo players stick around.
Pioneer Trail has several pairs of nursing pants for sale in spring colours and the following sizes, large, large tall, xlarge, xlarge tall, and 3xxxl. Stop by and pick up some spring colours to help chase the winter blues away.
Anyone who remembers the old radio shows that used to play on Saturday nights... well, there is a gentleman who has some of them available if you are interested. Please contact 403-8236992.
