Morrin 4-H Multi Club report
On December 4, 2017 the Morrin 4-H Multi club had its monthly meeting. At the meeting the members discussed volunteering for the year, the upcoming Christmas party, District Learning Day, and upcoming conferences and events.
Project reports were given with highlights from the 8 different projects. Members have been busy with their projects over the last month and they have begun to record in their record books all the great activities they have been doing.
On Sunday, December 10 the club held its Christmas Party at the Sandstone Lane Bowling Alley. Members took part in bowling and shared in hot dogs and snacks after. The Christmas party was well attended and fun was had by all.
On December 17, members of the club volunteered at the Morrin Lions Santa Breakfast by helping at the craft table, clearing tables and assisting with the breakfast.
On January 2 the club held its monthly meeting. Upcoming events and activities were discussed. It was decided that the club would be ordering new apparel (baseball tees, jackets, sweatpants).
On Monday, February 5, 2018, at 7 p.m. our club will be holding a Food Drive collect- ing for the Drumheller Salvation Army and the club members will be going door to door around the town of Morrin asking for donations.
On Tuesday, February 13 at 6:30 p.m. we will be holding our Club Public Speaking/Presentations at Morrin School. Everyone is welcome to come out to watch!
Lastly, on February 20, 2018, we will be having our Club Ski Trip to Canyon Ski Hill in Red Deer.
