Mor­rin 4-H Multi Club re­port

On De­cem­ber 4, 2017 the Mor­rin 4-H Multi club had its monthly meet­ing. At the meet­ing the mem­bers dis­cussed vol­un­teer­ing for the year, the up­com­ing Christ­mas party, District Learn­ing Day, and up­com­ing con­fer­ences and events.

Project re­ports were given with high­lights from the 8 dif­fer­ent projects. Mem­bers have been busy with their projects over the last month and they have be­gun to record in their record books all the great ac­tiv­i­ties they have been do­ing.

On Sun­day, De­cem­ber 10 the club held its Christ­mas Party at the Sand­stone Lane Bowl­ing Al­ley. Mem­bers took part in bowl­ing and shared in hot dogs and snacks af­ter. The Christ­mas party was well at­tended and fun was had by all.

On De­cem­ber 17, mem­bers of the club vol­un­teered at the Mor­rin Lions Santa Break­fast by help­ing at the craft ta­ble, clear­ing ta­bles and as­sist­ing with the break­fast.

On Jan­uary 2 the club held its monthly meet­ing. Up­com­ing events and ac­tiv­i­ties were dis­cussed. It was de­cided that the club would be or­der­ing new ap­parel (base­ball tees, jack­ets, sweat­pants).

On Mon­day, Fe­bru­ary 5, 2018, at 7 p.m. our club will be hold­ing a Food Drive col­lect- ing for the Drumheller Sal­va­tion Army and the club mem­bers will be go­ing door to door around the town of Mor­rin ask­ing for do­na­tions.

On Tues­day, Fe­bru­ary 13 at 6:30 p.m. we will be hold­ing our Club Pub­lic Speak­ing/Pre­sen­ta­tions at Mor­rin School. Every­one is wel­come to come out to watch!

Lastly, on Fe­bru­ary 20, 2018, we will be hav­ing our Club Ski Trip to Canyon Ski Hill in Red Deer.
