Letters to the Editor

The Drumheller Mail - - NEWS -

the Dalum area. I read it all and the names come to me as if it was yesterday when sitting at the A.G.T. switchboard picked up Dalum calls to Drumheller people or businesses in town. Ah, the Peterson’s, Ostergard’s, Rasmussen’s and Christensen’s were all such beautiful people and so lovely to talk to. The 100 years of these pioneers - I can still see the lovely barns and farm yards - picture perfect and hoping they wouldn’t get hail or worst of all, fire calls.

The weather is so hot I told someone I wish I could jump into the Red Deer River or go for a swim in the old outside pool instead of standing here morning and night watering this too big of a garden. Weather is weather and we have to like it or lump it and go on. Respectfully, Mary Guterson Campbell
