That sun­shine feels so good. Fin­gers are crossed that it lasts a long while. That wind last Fri­day sure helped clean up the leaves and ev­ery thing else that wasn’t tied down.

The lucky win­ner of the Mun­son 400 Raf­fle draw for Oc­to­ber 13 was Dianne Blanchett. Con­grat­u­la­tions and thank you for buy­ing a ticket. Tick­ets for next year’s raf­fle will be ready for sale in De­cem­ber.

I know that by the look of the weather fore­cast this week we will be very busy with har­vest but don’t for­get we are ready for do the cook­ing for you on Thurs­day. The Mun­son and Area Com­mu­nity As­so­ci­a­tion Turkey sup­per is on Oc­to­ber 18 from 5:00-7:00. Come join us for a de­li­cious home cooked turkey sup­per. Adults are $15, Chil­dren 7-12 $8, 6 and un­der are free. Take out meals are avail­able so if you are busy in the field bring some take out con­tain­ers and we will fix you up.

This late har­vest is keep­ing every­one close to home but don’t for­get about the Hal­loween sup­per and dance on Oc­to­ber 26. “A Night at Drac­ula’s Man­sion” will be a great evening with mu­sic and entertainm­ent by High 5 For tick­ets please call Dara Ku­dras (403) 820-4563 or Krys­tal Sharpe (403) 820-4214.
