Three-ve­hi­cle col­li­sion in­volv­ing two semis in­ves­ti­gated

A three-ve­hi­cle col­li­sion sent two to hos­pi­tal, one with life threat­en­ing in­juries, after a truck was sand­wiched be­tween two semis on Novem­ber 15.

At around 6:10 p.m. on Thurs­day, a truck trav­el­ling east­bound on High­way 9 struck the rear of an east­bound semi-truck haul­ing a gravel trailer, after which an­other east­bound semi col­lided with the truck.

The truck had two male oc­cu­pants, one of which was trans­ported to hos­pi­tal via air am­bu­lance with se­ri­ous, life-threat­en­ing in­juries. The se­cond pas­sen­ger was trans­ported to hos­pi­tal by EMS with se­ri­ous in­juries. Both semi-truck driv­ers were not in­jured.
