Nasty turn in the weather with the freezing rain this past weekend. Sure makes walking and driving very slippery. Hopefully we get some warmer temperatures that will help dry it up to make getting around safer. Also hopefully we won’t get any more rain until spring.
On December 1, there will be a Christmas Tea from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Carbon Community Church. There will also be a cookie walk. An assortment of Christmas cookies will be available for purchase.
The Carbon Library Christmas Craft Fair will be happening this weekend on November 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hall. There will be sleigh rides, a silent auction, COP concession and a visit from Santa. There will also be a kids craft table and 30 plus tables to shop from. It will be a good day to get some of your Christmas shopping started or done.
The Christmas Centerpiece Night is on December 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hall. Registration ends November 26, please call Renee O’Brien at 403823-1873 for more information. Please bring your pruners and snacks will be provided.
