Nolan Ranger cho­sen for com­mu­nity in­volve­ment

The Ro­tary Club of Drumheller’s Stu­dent of the Month for Oc­to­ber was Nolan Ranger of DVSS, Nolan was cho­sen for his aca­demic stand­ing and also his com­mu­nity in­volve­ment. Nolan plays on the Ti­tans Foot­ball team and will soon be play­ing bas­ket­ball and curl­ing. Nolan was em­ployed by the Tyrrell Mu­seum over the sum­mer and plans to pur­sue post-se­condary stud­ies in the fields of foren­sic or biomed­i­cal tox­i­col­ogy. Con­grat­u­lat­ing Nolan is Ro­tar­ian Barb Camp­bell and teacher Peter Bjel. He was pre­sented with is pack­age of a $25 gift cer­tifi­cate from River­side Value Drug Mart, a the­atre pass from Napier The­atre, a pizza and soft drink from Bos­ton Pizza and a cer­tifi­cate and $25 cheque from the Ro­tary Club.
