The Delia elks served a bountiful Christmas supper on Monday evening, December 17, for the Delia Elks and volunteers. Thank you Delia Elks, for such a nice evening, we volunteers certainly appreciate your kindness.
The Delia Curling Club is proud to announce things are up and going for the 2018-19 season! We have social Fridays, every week at 7 p.m. It is a casual arrangement and very informal, so if you just want to get out for some extra exercise without the steady commitment, this is for you. The lounge is open for visiting during and after curling, come check it out. If you are looking for some local community excitement, the curling rink is the place to find it.
Floor Curling at Endiang will resume on Monday, January 7. If you might be interested in learning about floor curling, contact Carol or Dave Cisley for more information. It is a lot of fun, and takes place indoors, so you don’t have to be out in the cold!
On Sunday, January 6 we will celebrate the Ukrainian Christmas at the Delia Drop In Centre. If you are partial to perogies be sure to check it out.
Thank you to Mrs. Johnson and helpers for once again bringing the little ones from the Delia School to entertain at the Drop In Centre, it is always such a treat and something we look forward to every year. I missed it this year due to other appointments, much to my regret, but am looking forward to seeing them form another time.
Happy Birthday to Greg Herzog on December 30, to Andrew Raugust on December 31, Eastin Seidler on January 5, Weldon Seidler on January 6, Saralyn Stel on January 13, and Hailey Seidler on January 19.
