Dinosaur Trail Golf and Country Club has a new Board of Directors to carry it through the 2019 golf season.

The Club held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, April 18. There were about 50 shareholders and members in attendance.

The new Board of Directors includes Linda Traquair, Tony Pliva, Mike Kostelecky, Landon Bosch, Paul Tokarski, Wes Chung, and newcomer Adam Messinger. They also welcomed shareholders Mike Yavis and Cheryl Richen, who have previously served, back on to the board.

The executive will be appointed at the next meeting.

The meeting comes on the heels of a successful annual fundraising dinner and auction on Saturday, April 13. The event was held at the Badlands Community Facility.

Club manager Greg Morrow tells the Mail the event netted about $63,000. The funds will be used to upgrade its river pumping systems and repair cart paths on the back 9.
