St. An­thony’s stu­dents grad­u­ate

On Satur­day, June 1, 17 stu­dents at St. An­thony’s School crossed the stage into their fu­ture at their grad­u­a­tion cer­e­monies.

Friends, fam­ily, and well-wish­ers filled the St. An­thony’s gym­na­sium to wit­ness the con­vo­ca­tion. The school’s Choir and the Ju­nior and Se­nior High Bands pro­vided mu­sic to the mem­o­rable event.

Prin­ci­pal Mrs. JoAnne Aker­boom pro­vided the in­vo­ca­tion. The Honourable Kevin Soren­son MP, Battle River-Crow­foot, Nate Horner MLA for Drumheller-Stet­tler, Coun­cil­lor Jay Gar­butt, rep­re­sent­ing the Town of Drumheller, and Mr. Vin­cent Behm, As­so­ciate Su­per­in­ten­dent, Christ the Redeemer School Di­vi­sion, brought greet­ings.

Sa­lu­ta­to­rian Matthew Doyle de­liv­ered a mes­sage of thanks to the Teachers and Par­ents.

The stu­dents were pre­sented their Diplo­mas as well as me­men­tos from the dis­tin­guished guests.

Dono­van Snider was named the Vale­dic­to­rian.
