Wow the wind that blew through last Saturday was terrible. Thank goodness I only had some branches down around the yard. I am very thankful it was only that as saw much worse damage elsewhere. Was at the Farmers’ Market in Drumheller when it came through and tents blowing all over the place. Very thankful for customers and vendors helping with everything. Coming home saw the roof peeled off someone’s mobile home, very scary stuff.

Did you know that in 1900 John Meecham Borgart bought a half interest in the Elliott Ranch and ran a herd of cattle under a separate brand. This partnership was dissolved in 1903 when Mr. Elliott bought Mr. Borgart’s interest. The distinction of naming the Post Office belongs to J.M. Borgart.
Have a good week everyone.
