Greetings & Salutations! Here’s what’s new this week in the Standard Community…
The Standard Nazareth Lutheran Church is excited to announce they are bringing back their annual Turkey Supper. Join in on Friday, November 15 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. to enjoy a wonderful turkey supper with all the trimmings. If you would like to volunteer, by cooking, bringing a dessert, working a prep shift, or helping during the supper please contact Aimee Christensen.
Three Chords and the Roots Tour is coming to Standard. Featured artists include, Duane Steele, Blake Reid, Joni Delaurier, Troy Kokol, and Standard’s own Drew Gregory. Join in on Wednesday, November 20 for an evening of great music, great friends, and for a great cause. All proceeds will go to the Standard Rodeo Arena Fund, and the Do More AG foundation which is raising awareness of mental health in the Agriculture
Communities.

Anxiety disorders affect 5% of the household population, causing mild to severe impairment. Suicide accounts for 24% of all deaths among 15-24 year old’s and 16% among 25-44 year old’s.
Join in fellowship and fun at the next potluck supper and meeting for the 50+ Senior’s Club on Tuesday, November 20, at 6:30 p.m.
In Rockyford… Raising kids in today’s digital world can be challenging, an open invitation is extended to all to attend a seminar that is being held on Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rockyford Community Center. Take [email protected] is a workshop that equips parents and grandparents with the necessary skills/resources needed to help their children navigate the internet. The workshops present the realities of how the porn industry aggressively pursues children via the internet and provides strategies to protect them. Gain insight, resources and tangible tips for raising kids in this environment.
