It feels like people are getting into the spirit of Christmas much earlier this year. I wonder if it has anything to do with the Hallmark showing their Christmas movies starting in early November.
The lucky winner of the Munson 400 Raffle for November 23 was Mark Chambers. Congratulations. Thank you for buying a ticket and supporting the Munson and Area Community Association.
The tickets for the 2020 Munson 400 Raffle draw are now available for sale. Contact any committee member to buy a ticket. Remember they will all be sold by January 1, 2020. They make great Christmas presents and have been proven to keep giving throughout the year.
The Game Day event at the Munson Hall on November 24 was a fun time. A nice little crowd that got together for some games and great food. The teams in the Grey Cup game may not have been the crowd favorites but it helped make the day. The Committee is considering on doing a similar event in the future.
The next event will be the Santa Brunch on December 22 from 11:00-1:00 at the Munson Hall.
I hear the Morrin 4H Multi Club is selling Homestead Roasters coffee beans as a fundraiser. It’s great coffee from a small roaster. Contact Sandy McNaughton (403-8204742) for more information. A bag of coffee makes a nice Christmas gift.
This is a good one: If you didn’t hear it with your own ears or see it with your own eyes, don’t invent it with your small mind and share it with your big mouth.
Be kind, smile and have a good week.
