The Drag­ons con­tin­ued their scor­ing ways last week pick­ing up four points in three games.

The Drag­ons hosted the White­court Wolver­ines on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 28. The Drag­ons opened the scor­ing mid­way through the first pe­riod with a goal from Eric Martin, how­ever, the Wolver­ines tied it up be­fore the pe­riod ended. Martin scored his sec­ond 3:37 into the sec­ond pe­riod, but White­court an­swered back on the pow­er­play. Scout Tru­man got hot and scored two pow­er­play goals to end the sec­ond pe­riod 4-2 for the Drag­ons.

White­court scored 5 min­utes into the third pe­riod, but Miles Hil­man put it out of reach, win­ning 5-3.

The Drag­ons were back home on Fri­day night, Novem­ber 29 to take on Brooks. The Ban­dits have been hav­ing a his­toric sea­son, and have only lost twice through 18 games. Brooks went up 2-0 af­ter one pe­riod. Martin scored on the pow­er­play mid­way through the pe­riod, but the Ban­dits scored two more in the third pe­riod. Martin scored his sec­ond with six min­utes left, and that was as close as the Drag­ons could get as the Ban­dits won 4-2.

On Sun­day, De­cem­ber 1, the Drag­ons were in Cal­gary to take on the Canucks. Cal­gary scored first, but by the end of the first pe­riod, the Drag­ons were up 4-1 with goals from Hil­man, Shane Ott, Steven Zon­n­eveld, and Der­rick Budz.

The Canucks scored first in the sec­ond pe­riod, but the Drag­ons kept up their scor­ing as Kasey Hiem­stra, Brady Risk and Kent An­der­son all found the net, go­ing up 7-2 af­ter two.

In the third

Ott, scored his pe­riod sec­ond fol­lowed by Nick­o­las de Beurs and then Risk scored his sec­ond to make the score 10-2. The Drag­ons were 75 per cent on the pow­er­play and out­shot the Canucks 57-24.

This week the Drag­ons are in Brooks on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber, 4 and then host the Ban­dits on Fri­day, De­cem­ber 6. On Sun­day, De­cem­ber 8 they are in Oko­toks to take on the Oil­ers.

For his per­for­mance Eric Martin was named the AJHL Canalta Ho­tels Play­ers of the Week. He led the league with eight points in three games.
