MERGED GOLF WITH LEISURE

-

Antalya boasts more than just exceptional golfing. Here are a few ideas to elevate your golf vacation experience.

If you are with the family, you can be sure that pristine sandy beaches are the norm in all luxury resorts of Belek, many also featuring well-managed kids clubs, as well as youth golf academies. Alternatively, you can organize an “aquatic” family fun day by visiting Antalya’s aquarium or theme parks.

For history buffs, Kaleiçi (Old Town) in Antalya is like a living museum with landmarks including Hadrian Gate, and old wood and brick Antalya houses with their amazing courtyards ornamented with the region’s trademark pebble mosaics. To see the precious artefacts found in ancient cities like Side, Aspendos and Perge, head to Antalya Archaeology Museum outside the old city walls.

Book a ticket for a concert or show at the ancient theatre of Aspendos, during the annual Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival held in August and September.

Take an exhilarating jeep safari or river rafting in Köprülü Canyon for a day of adventure.

Lycian Way (Likya Yolu) offers a 540km moderate to difficult waymarked trail combining old shepherd’s paths, mule trails, and caravan routes. Hike along the trails connecting the ancient cities of Lycia and Pisidia regions, or discover the rich flora of the Antalya region with botanic tours encompassing Tahtalı Mountain, Kemer, Çıralı and Kaş in spring and autumn.

During the hot season, cool off with the ice-cold waters of Düden and Manavgat Waterfalls and spend a day in nature.
