Former CFL first overall pick signs
MONTREAL ( CP) — It didn’t take long for former CFL first overall pick Faith Ekakitie to find a new job. Less than a week after the No. 1 pick from the 2017 draft was cut by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Ekakitie signed with the Montreal Alouettes on Thursday. A defensive lineman from Brampton, Ont., Ekakitie inked a one- year deal with the Alouettes. He played in 14 games with the Bombers last season, making five defensive tackles.
