Brantford police said Friday they have charged three men with firearmrelated offences after an investigation at a disturbance at an address on Wellington Street. On Wednesday, just after 7 p.m., police got a 911 call and were advised that the parties inside were in possession of firearms. Officers arrested three men found in the home and seized two loaded semiautomatic firearms: one a 40-calibre and the other a 45-calibre. Charged are two men, aged 22 and 21, from Brantford and a 22-year-old man from Brampton. Each is charged with possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, careless use of a firearm, weapon and ammunition, tampering with a serial number of a firearm and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
