Home Depot helps raise funds for St. Leonard’s
The Home Depot’s Brantford store is fundraising for the St. Leonard’s Community Services Youth Resource Centre. Until Dec. 16 customers can donate $2 at the store’s checkout in exchange for an orange paper door. The donations will help the youth centre purchase supplies and materials for its lifeskills programs. The fundraiser is part of The Home Depot Canada Foundation’s Orange Door Project, which aims to prevent and end youth homelessness in Canada. The St. Leonard’s Youth Resource Centre provides emergency, shortand long-term accommodation for those aged 16 to 19 who are homeless or at risk of being homeless.
