No comparison

The Expositor (Brantford) - - OPINION -

It was almost more than I — and I’ll bet many others — could stomach to see Donald Trump at the funeral for George H.W. Bush, sitting in the front row beside three former presidents whom he has bad mouthed for the past two years.

I thought that our former prime minister, Brian Mulroney, did Canada proud with his eulogy.

All the speakers were excellent and very complimentary with their remarks about the former president.

Common in all was the description of the elder Mr. Bush as a paragon of leadership, virtue and character. What a contrast to the person presently holding the office of the president of the United States. Ken Simmons Brantford
