The Expositor (Brantford) - - NEWS -

City councillors are supporting plans to redevelop a 74-hectare parcel of land on Henry Street. Councillors are backing a zoning bylaw amendment needed for the development of 17 industrial blocks on the property on the north side of Henry and east of Wayne Gretzky Parkway. Five buildings used by various industries are already on the site. The former Massey-Ferguson manufacturing plant is also on the site. The proposal was recommended for approval by city staff who said the development of the lands will provide employment opportunities. The future use of the land, which hasn't been determined, is compatible with surrounding land uses, councillors were told.
