One big chunk of happiness

Walking into Laura’s The Art of Living store in Cornwall is like walking into a big chunk of happiness.

At least that’s the way owner Kim Sabourin tells it.

“Our customers always tell us that they feel fantastic when they visit us,” she says. “I’ve had people tell me they come into the store feeling bad and they leave feeling good.”

For most of its 16 years, Laura’s billed itself as a flower and gift store. But late last year, it rebranded itself as a lifestyle store.

“That’s because we have 6,000 square feet of everything,” explains Mrs. Sabourin. “We have jewelry, home decor, gourmet foods, kitchen gadgets, lighting, frames – we’re a one- stop shop.”

Although Laura’s has changed its name and is currently updating its website, Mrs. Sabourin wants her customers to know she’s still offering the flowers and chocolates that were for sale at the old store. Laura’s The Art of Living is located at 1140 Brookdale in Cornwall.
