Hugo Mobility, in association with La Plume Moderne and Nav Centre, Cornwall, cordially invites you to Participation's Music Hall Theatre Production’s A Down Town Abbey Christmas Special, Thursday, November 26 at the Nav Centre, 1950 Montreal Road.
At 6 o'clock in the evening, cocktail hour begins in the lounge.
Attendees will be able to pose for photographs with period costume items while enjoying cocktail music that showcases the golden voice of Katie Ditschun in “Sweet And Sassy.”
The Centre's Executive Chef, Luc McCabe, a recent competitor on the Food Network's Chopped Canada, will prepare the delectable, English-style Down Town Abbey Christmas Dinner. Following the meal, Participation's Music Hall Theatre Productions will top off the evening with a unique show that includes music, theatre, comedy, Glengarry's own "Down Town Abbey," and some splendid original songs by Robert Hardy and Katie Ditschun.
The troupe includes: Katie Ditschun: Vocals, Percussion, Piano, and Kazoo; Robert Hardy: Clarinet; Ian McIntosh: Ukulele and Guitar; Bill Riley: Tuba, Euphonium, and Trumpet; Laurie McRae-Bingley as Viola St. James; Jeff Poissant, RGD: Visual presentation; David Sauvé: Stage manager.
A humungous fireplace courtesy of Auberge des Gallant, photo booth courtesy of bits of St. Raphael’s, the lady of the house and hubby, Lady Atherby Handcock, who will not appear in the show and her other half, Lord Johnathon Thomas Handcock, who may appear in the show, the housekeeper who definitely will appear in the show, Harriet Haycock played by Laurie McRae-Bingley, who also plays Lady Viola St. James, in the second bit of the show, Harriet's other half, Horatio Handcock, will be mentioned for his helpful handling of Lady Atherby Handcock's “stop cock.”
The service staff: The footman, Thomas Fullerton played by David Sauvé and the maid, Gladys Scraggerton, played by Shannon Hardy.
There will be a special appearance by the liberated “stop cock.”
