Surprise

Turns out there were some ulterior motives behind the aforementioned Thursday night Hip concert.

Friday night included a takeout meal, after a very long day of work, picked up by my wife. There was also some extra attention paid to my happiness and well being on behalf of my better half Friday evening.

She was being extra nice for some reason. Turns out, she wanted to ensure I was in a very good mood when she broke the news to me that she was pregnant. . . . with our fifth child. I love you, honey. We'll be fine. Just one more to love. One helluva week!

Meantime has bid adieu to its piper, James Libbey, who has left Canada after accepting a position teaching music at an international school in Luxembourg.• Five Glengarrians were inducted into the Glengarry Sports Hall of Fame at the 2006 induction dinner held recently. Inductees include Lori Dupuis, Kaye Hay, Robert MacKinnon, Garry McArthur and Bernard Menard.
