Turns out there were some ul­te­rior mo­tives be­hind the afore­men­tioned Thurs­day night Hip con­cert.

Fri­day night in­cluded a take­out meal, af­ter a very long day of work, picked up by my wife. There was also some ex­tra at­ten­tion paid to my hap­pi­ness and well be­ing on be­half of my bet­ter half Fri­day evening.

She was be­ing ex­tra nice for some rea­son. Turns out, she wanted to en­sure I was in a very good mood when she broke the news to me that she was preg­nant. . . . with our fifth child. I love you, honey. We'll be fine. Just one more to love. One hel­luva week!

Mean­time has bid adieu to its piper, James Libbey, who has left Canada af­ter ac­cept­ing a po­si­tion teach­ing mu­sic at an in­ter­na­tional school in Lux­em­bourg.• Five Glen­gar­ri­ans were in­ducted into the Glen­garry Sports Hall of Fame at the 2006 in­duc­tion din­ner held re­cently. In­ductees in­clude Lori Dupuis, Kaye Hay, Robert MacK­in­non, Garry McArthur and Bernard Me­nard.
