Our County Correspondents
120 people come together this past Saturday, Aug. 20 at the social centre in Glen Robertson.
The Larocques came in from the West coast across Canada to the East coast. The four generations of the family ranged from 20 days old to 96 years old. Amazing!
Everyone pitched in for a potluck luncheon and the music was provided by family members who are musicians. How wonderful to bring all those family members together! A true family affair. JeanLucien must have been a very proud man! Needless to say, a lot of fun was had!
Also, on another happy note, Berthe Larocque celebrated her 84th birthday on Sunday, Aug. 21.
Happy Birthday, Berthe and may you have many more filled with health and happiness.
I believe our “once again Grandma” Linda Lavigne is back from a well- deserved vacation.
Hope you had a great time, Linda. Looking forward to seeing you and those pictures of Scarlett Elizabeth!
And in closing, I leave you with a quote from Abraham Lincoln: “In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.”
May you all have a wonderful week and make the most of each day. God Bless!
