Junior ‘B’ Glens in a fog
On Thursday night, the Alexandria junior ‘B’ Glens hit the ice in Casselman to play the Vikings, but it didn’t last long, as the match was called after just seven minute due to unplayable conditions.
It was a fog-out at the Brisson arena, caused be the unseasonably humid conditions outside, forcing the match to be scrubbed and bounced to Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m.
The Glens entered the Vikes’ home barn winless in the early going of the 2016-17 campaign, having lost twice to open the season at the CCHL2 showcase the previous weekend.
Last night, the boys were scheduled to play on the road against the Ottawa Canadians, with the result not available before press time. Updates will be posted to our website.
