The Se­away Val­ley Blaz­ers U16 boys soccer team fin­ished its ERSL cam­paign un­beaten, with a record of 12-0-2, cap­tur­ing the league ti­tle with a four-point mar­gin.

The Blaz­ers’ top goal scorer was Ap­ple Hill’s Trevor Spence (15). Alexan­dria’s Bai­ley Pid­geon scored a goal and recorded a shutout in net. North Lan­caster’s Mathieu Giroux had five mark­ers, and Wil­liam Proulx, of Ap­ple Hill, recorded a pair of tal­lies to round out the county con­tri­bu­tion to the squad.

Spence tied for fourth over­all in league scor­ing.

The Blaz­ers also won the ER Shield fi­nal, with a 2-1 ef­fort over West Ottawa, on goals from Ben­nett Mes­man (for­merly of Mart­in­town) and Paul-An­dre Mon­crief (for­merly of Wil­liamstown).

Joe St. Denis Field, be­gin­ning at 6 p.m. This game fea­tures Holy Trin­ity ver­sus St. Joseph’s. On Thurs­day, GDHS hosts CCVS at 11:30 a.m., and Tagwi en­ter­tains La Ci­tadelle at 2 p.m. –
