What is your New Year's Resolution?

The Glengarry News - - News - – ALEXANDRIA, ONTARIO

Denis Ménard, Alexandria: I don't have any resolutions because I already quit smoking last December. Well, not exactly true. I've smoked off and on since then, so I guess my New Year's resolution to quit smoking this time for real. Valerie Grenier, Apple Hill:

To be more thoughtful. Sometimes we speak right away and we don't think. I know myself, I'm a chatty person, and sometimes I don't think before I say something. Rita Ward, Cornwall: To be like my husband's aunt, Millie, who died when she was 99. I never saw her with a frown. She was always cheerful. André Cadieux, Fassifern: To hit the gym! Grace Eamer, Williamstown: To practise my Highland dancing more so I can go to the ScotDance Canada Championships in P.E.I. in July. Elizabeth Clark, Lancaster: To be more giving with my time and to spend more time training and socializing Dexter, my chocolate lab who needs a lot of exercise - along with me.
