Smile! Good health begins with healthy teeth
If you have promised to take better care of your teeth this year, services such as those offered at the Moose Creek Dental Hygiene Clinic can help you stick to your pledge.
Hygienist Guylaine Souligny Theoret has been practising dental hygiene since graduating from Algonquin College in 1990.
Throughout her 25 year career she has had the privilege of working with amazing dentists and dental teams.
However, she had longed to work independently. In June, 2008 that dream became a reality in her hometown of Moose Creek, where she opened her practice in the Moose Creek Medical Centre.
Her services include assessment, scaling, polishing and whitening.
Mrs. Souligny Theoret is a registered member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario. She is also an active member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association and the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association.
In 2011 she joined the Dental Hygiene Practitioners of Ontario and is now a board member. She is also the Eastern Ontario District Director.
She thrives on continuing education and learning the newest dental innovations to better serve her patients. She is enrolled in numerous courses throughout the year.
Her latest passion has been to travel to the West Coast to further her dental hygiene knowledge and skills. She also loves taking advantage of the beauty, scenic views and numerous outdoor activities that Vancouver and the area have to offer.
Oral health is an important part of overall health.
Good oral health contributes positively to your physical, mental and social well-being and to the enjoyment of life's possibilities, by allowing you to speak, eat and socialize unhindered by pain, discomfort or embarrassment.
Brushing and flossing, following a healthy diet, and visiting the dentist regularly are all part of ongoing oral care for healthy teeth and gums.
