Lan­caster leads 4-city tour

The first round of the in­ter-club se­nior men’s curl­ing com­pe­ti­tion, known as the ‘Four-City Tour,’ opened on Dec. 6 at the Lan­caster Curl­ing Club, where the host team pre­vailed in both its games to take the early lead in the standings.

Alexan­dria and Glen­garry (Maxville) played to split re­sults, while Van­kleek Hill dropped both.

Standings af­ter one round are as fol­lows: Lan­caster 20 points, Alexan­dria and Maxville each with 14, and Van­kleek Hill 8.

The next stage of the tour­ing event is booked for Jan. 10 at the curl­ing club in Maxville.

The third and fourth bon­spiels will be hosted by clubs in Alexan­dria and Van­kleek Hill, re­spec­tively, later in the win­ter.
