Lancaster leads 4-city tour
The first round of the inter-club senior men’s curling competition, known as the ‘Four-City Tour,’ opened on Dec. 6 at the Lancaster Curling Club, where the host team prevailed in both its games to take the early lead in the standings.
Alexandria and Glengarry (Maxville) played to split results, while Vankleek Hill dropped both.
Standings after one round are as follows: Lancaster 20 points, Alexandria and Maxville each with 14, and Vankleek Hill 8.
The next stage of the touring event is booked for Jan. 10 at the curling club in Maxville.
The third and fourth bonspiels will be hosted by clubs in Alexandria and Vankleek Hill, respectively, later in the winter.
