“Get well” wishes go out to Bruno Lauzon, who had a snowmobile accident Thursday. Sending you an express delivery of best wishes and may the sun shine on your speedy recovery!

Way to go to the students at Glengarry District High School for raising $ 2,000 for their school; Scotiabank’s Alexandria branch matched the sum they raised.

Birthday wishes to Mrs. Tonie Oetelaar January 25, to Mrs. F. Bishop January 26 and my sister, Micheline Vachon, January 27. There are exactly 86,400 seconds in your birthday. Enjoy every one of them! Pleasant thoughts are sent your way with heartfelt wishes for a happy day. Good morning, Dalkeith. I would like to thank all my readers for having such an interest in Cinderella’s journey. I hope she keeps you entertained for many years to come. I hope she is ready for the 150th Canada’s birthday parade in Dalkeith Saturday, July 29.

Let’s get right into the mouse count. We have caught 25 mice so far, and the trap is loaded and set everyday. The funny smell is gone. I did learn recently that the most numerous of the animals on Earth is the rodent division, which is very evident in this experiment.

From the horse’s mouth

Finally got my lesson on Robin last Wednesday. She needs more muscle in her hind quarters to help her make smooth transitions.

So, we have a lot of exercises geared to help that happen. Cinderella has mastered the line driving and is ready for some baggage to drag behind her.

I see us driving in the future, something that never happened with my former horses. Cinderella is very good to come in last for the treats on a regular basis now. I no longer have to restrain her or show her the crop. Baby steps!
