Five si­los in Prescott-Rus­sell have been con­verted into works of art un­der the Pop­si­los pro­gram. A com­mit­tee that in­cluded rep­re­sen­ta­tives from the tourism in­dus­try, agri­cul­tural com­mu­nity, the United Coun­ties of Prescott-Rus­sell and Pop­si­los co-pro­duc­ers Ac­ti­var and A’shop, se­lected the win­ning de­signs for the 4,000-square­foot mu­rals.

Two are lo­cated in Prescott County.

A raven looms over Van­kleek Hill Vine­yard, 3725 County Road 12, lo­cated at the Barb Road exit on High­way 417, east of Van­kleek Hill, in East Hawkes­bury Town­ship.

A young farmer graces the Ouimet Farms Ad­ven­ture work at 63 Main St. West, across from the fair­grounds, in Van­kleek Hill.

The mu­ral at the Michel Dig­nard et Jean­nette Mon­geon Farm, 591 St- Guil­laume St., Em­brun, in­cludes bul­rushes.

The Ben-Rey-Mo Ltd. at 127 Prin­ci­pale St., in St-Al­bert, has mul­ti­ple themes. Horses By Han­nah at 8 Road 600 in Cas­sel­man has a big-time buzz. The cir­cuit was made pos­si­ble by a $150,000 fed­eral gov­ern­ment grant, to pro­mote art and agri­food tourism and to cel­e­brate Canada’s 150th an­niver­sary.
