With parents as their caddies, the young members of the junior program at the Glengarry Golf and Country Club took over the course on Sunday for their annual season-ending tournament.

Program leader Henry Viger says he was thrilled with the participation, with 32 of 37 members competing in the event.

The youngsters were grouped into eight foursomes, playing a scramble format on the front nine holes.

When the scorecards were checked, Team Patrick had the lowest net score, a 35.5, one stroke better than Team Myriam.

The victorious group included Patrick Rochon, Tristan Paquette, Caleb Paquette, and Nathan Papps.

Rounding out the standings were Team Ben (38), Team Ian (38.5), Team Max (39), Team Blake (39.5), Team Pierre-Luc (41.5), and Team Jack (43.5).

The tournament concluded with a light lunch and the presentation of an array of golf-related prizes.
