Water walk a heavy lesson

Staff Several students from St. Finnan’s Elemetary School aren’t likely to take their drinking water for granted anytime soon.
Last Monday morning, the school’s Grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 students participated in an event called We Walk for Water, which is designed to show them the challenges many people face in order to access drinking water.
“It’s raising awareness for the water crisis around the world, including some of our indigenous communities here in Canada,” explained teacher Andrea Blaine, who organized the event, which
