Holy Trin­ity’s se­nior girls and se­nior boys soc­cer teams both ended the SDGAA reg­u­lar sea­son in sec­ond place of their re­spec­tive ‘AA’ di­vi­sions, be­hind Catholic ri­val St. Joseph’s.

The Fal­cons girls fin­ished with 5 wins, 2 ties, and 1 loss, for 17 points, just one fewer than the Pan­thers. HT’s se­nior boys recorded 5 wins, 2 ties, and 3 losses. That gave them 17 points, while SJ topped the ta­ble with 25.

GSL se­nior soc­cer this week

There’s a se­nior men’s soc­cer game tonight on the Lochiel pitch, where Glen Sand­field and McCrim­mon are sched­uled to tan­gle, at 8:30 p.m., as part of the open­ing week of play, in the Glen­garry Soc­cer League.

To­mor­row night on the same field, play will switch to the se­nior women’s divi­sion, with Glen Sand­field tak­ing on Char-Lan FC, at 8:30 p.m.
