This spring has been so busy that we’ve barely been able to cover all the amaz­ing events tak­ing place in Glen­garry. Top left: Llyr Har­ris, Michael Mac­chi­ago­dena, Gareth Davies, Keirra Poulin, and Anas­tazjia Ay­otte, do a car wash fundraiser for the Lan­caster Air Cadet Squadron. They are shown wash­ing a 1973 Corvette St­ingray owned by South Lan­caster res­i­dent Kerry Sinnott. Top right, Tagwi Grade 7 stu­dents Ka­t­rina Tripp-Kildeen and Syd­ney Mount had fun on the splash pad dur­ing Tag­wipalooza, their school’s year-end cel­e­bra­tion. Bot­tom left, GDHS Grade 7 stu­dents Keira Kennedy and Rowen McCormick with their orig­i­nal sand­wich, the Dorky Porky, which con­sists of pork with brie, ap­ples, spinach, honey di­jon and mus­tard. The pair’s sand­wich was fea­tured at the Quirky Car­rot last month. Their sand­wich was picked from about 20 other sub­mis­sions as part of Food Revo­lu­tion Day. Bot­tom right, Davin Este, 11, of Ap­ple Hill got a free air­plane ride cour­tesy of Peter Ger­vais of St. An­drews at the Corn­wall Re­gional Air­port last month. It’s a bi-an­nual event put on by the Corn­wall Fly­ing Club. The event is spon­sored by the Cana­dian Own­ers and Pi­lots As­so­ci­a­tion.
