Your old car can help care

The Glengarry News - - News -

If you have an old car or truck sitting in your driveway, why not donate it to a good cause?

Hand over your jalopy to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation, receive an official income tax receipt, and support local health care at the same time.

The foundation has partnered with Hospi, which accepts vehicle donations on the foundation’s behalf. The vehicles are recycled or sold at auction. Donors receive a tax receipt and the foundation receives a donation.

“This is a unique, new fundraising opportunity for WDMH and we are excited that we have already received donations,” says Kristen Casselman, Managing Director of the foundation. “The process is simple and it’s a win-win for everyone.”

Hospi will pick up your vehicle free of charge. For more information or to request a quote, call 613-706-0482 or visit https://hospiester to access the online form.
