Tagwi Sec­ondary School’s boys golf team placed sec­ond at the Sept. 18 SD&G cham­pi­onships, held at the Up­per Canada Golf Course, near Mor­ris­burg.

Citadelle checked in at 264. Amongst the War­riors, Mackil­li­can had the best round ( 96) and placed third over­all.

The team, as a re­sult of its sec­ond-place fin­ish, ad­vances to EOSSAA ( along with the Pa­tri­otes), set for Sept. 27, in Arn­prior.

Char- Lan’s boys en­trants in­cluded Caden MacCrim­mon, Cole MacCrim­mon, An­drew Dixon, Dan­ick Martin, and Connor Mac­Don­ald.

The group, un­der the guid­ance of Clem Di Ste­fano, fin­ished third and will not move on to EOSSAA.

Glen­garry DHS did not en­ter any stu­dent-ath­letes in this year’s SD&G tour­na­ment.

EOSSAA will be held at the Moun­tain Creek Golf Course.
