Two games into his LHSAO hockey career with the Cornwall Prowlers, Maxville’s Adam Wensink paid dividends, scoring against the Mont-Laurier Montagnards on Saturday night. His goal came with the senior ‘A’ Prowlers trailing 2-0, to cue up a comeback that saw Cornwall prevail 6-5.

Alexandria’s Pierre-Luc Sabourin assisted on the goal. The team’s biggest offensive output came from Marc-Andre Labelle, who potted a pair of goals and chalked up two assists.

Wensink joined the Prowlers in time for last Friday night’s game versus the Vaudreuil-Dorion Titans, which went into the books as an 11-4 loss. This team will be Cornwall’s next opponent, as the Prowlers are scheduled to hit the road to play the Titans on Nov. 10.
