Prowlers dou­ble Ban­dits

The Corn­wall Ban­dits of the LHSAO scored an 8-4 win over the Cum­ber­land Ban­dits in se­nior ‘A’ hockey on home ice, Nov. 24, with Alexan­dria’s own Pierre-Luc Sabourin scor­ing a goal and an as­sist. The team also got big of­fen­sive con­tri­bu­tions from some Bran­don Gilmour and Ste­vie Ray Adams, each of whom

notched two goals and one as­sist.

Elie back in Sabres lineup

Green Val­ley’s Remi Elie hasn’t seen much ac­tion since be­ing picked up by the NHL Buf­falo Sabres due to nag­ging knee prob­lems, but he was healthy enough to re­turn to the lineup for the team’s Nov. 24 game, a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings.

Elie had 10 min­utes, 38 sec­onds of ice time and was cred­ited with 2 shots and 1 hit.

Spink twins in Swe­den

South Glen­garry 25-year-old twins Ty­lor Spink and Tyson Spink are skat­ing in their sec­ond sea­son of pro­fes­sional hockey in the Swedish Elite League, with Öre­bro. Ty­lor has 8 points in 20 games, while Tyson has 1 in 15.
