Gaels sweep Cru­saders

In se­nior girls high school vol­ley­ball last week, hosted by Tagwi Sec­ondary School, the Glen­garry Gaels beat the Char-Lan Cru­saders in straight sets, 25-18 and 25-18.

Other ac­tion saw the Gaels swept by St. Joseph’s 25-15 and 25-20. The Pan­thers also topped the host War­riors in two sets, both on 25-18 scores.

GDHS’ ju­nior girls pre­vailed over St. Joseph’s in two sets, on scores of 25-23 and 25-12.

Tagwi’s ju­niors also swept the Pan­thers, 25-16 and 25-7.

On Tues­day, Jan. 15, league play will switch to Holy Trin­ity, where the Gaels, Cru­saders, and War­riors will be in ac­tion, along with the Fal­cons.
